Urban Development and Energy Minister A.K. Sharma inspected the Laxman Mela Ghat regarding the preparations for the Chhath festival.

Reviewed the cleanliness, lighting and security arrangements at the ghat for the convenience of the devotees.

Instructions to officials – A special cleanliness drive should be carried out on the ghats.

Instructions given to the Energy Department – Ensure uninterrupted power supply during the festival.

Order to Municipal Corporation – Improve fogging, cleanliness and lighting on the roads.

The minister said – Chhath festival is a symbol of faith and cleanliness, negligence will not be tolerated.

Instructions to all departments to complete the work in coordination.

Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Kumar along with officials of the corporation and electricity department were present during the inspection.
